About

ABOUT ME SMALL

I have always been an artist. I was the kind of kid who reveled in gifts like watercolor sets, sketchbooks, and blank canvases. I studied all kinds of art, formally and informally, including photography, all my life.
In the fall of 2010 I met my first DSLR, the Nikon D90. After losing a dear loved one, I bought a camera. I did not want to miss any more opportunities to memorialize these moments, each one lost forever as it passes. I did not realize then that the camera would become the ultimate platform for my life’s quest of artistic expression.
I am not a high-volume studio. I have a family that I treasure, and I work in our home. I take pictures of what inspires me. It started with landscapes, portraits and stills, but when my son was born in 2011, my passion and focus shifted to capturing the precious and fleeting memories made by children and families. I am intensely passionate about capturing the innocence and zeal of infants, babies and young children, the bonds between families and friends, and the beauty of the human form.
Art is who I am, and my work comes from my heart and soul. I have a passion for this medium, And I will work hard because I care.
